What we collect

Your account email and name, the texts you submit for rewriting or human review, and usage counters (words used per month). Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: rewriting your texts, enforcing quotas, delivering human reviews and billing. Your texts are never used to train AI models and are never sold or shared with advertisers.

Human reviewers

If you order a human review, the text you submitted is shown to the approved reviewer who claims the job, for the sole purpose of reviewing it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or for the deletion of your account and everything attached to it at any time through the contact form on the Contact page.

Browser extension

The Youmanize extension for Chrome sends only the text you select, and only when you trigger a rewrite from the context menu or the keyboard shortcut. It reads no page on its own, stores no browsing history, and runs no script on a site until you ask it to. Your API key and your tone settings stay in the browser's extension storage; the last rewrite is kept there too so a failed insertion never loses your text. Nothing is shared with third parties, and none of it is used for advertising or profiling.

Provenance marking

Texts processed by the AI option may carry an invisible, machine-readable provenance mark added by our model provider, in line with the EU AI Act. It indicates that an AI model processed the text and nothing more. Texts rewritten through the human review option carry no machine mark.
