The service
Youmanize rewrites text you submit so that it reads more naturally, in the tone and strength you choose. It also offers an optional human review, where an approved reviewer rewrites your text by hand. Youmanize is a writing tool: it is neither an AI detector nor a content generator, and it does not create content from nothing.
Accounts
You need an account to use the service, and one email address means one account. Keep your password and API keys confidential; anything done with your key is treated as done by you. You can revoke and regenerate an API key at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend an account that abuses the service, tries to bypass quotas, or breaks these terms.
Plans, billing and cancellation
The free plan includes a monthly word allowance. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe, and they renew automatically until you cancel. You can switch plans or cancel at any time from the customer portal in your dashboard; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and that period is not refunded. Human reviews are one-off purchases paid before the work starts. Prices may change, but never for a period already paid.
Your content
The texts you submit remain yours. You keep all rights to what you send and to the rewritten result, and you are responsible for having the right to submit the text in the first place. We use your texts only to provide the service: producing the rewrite, enforcing quotas, and, when you order a human review, showing the text to the approved reviewer who takes the job. Your texts are never used to train AI models and are never sold.
What we do not promise
We do not promise any score on any AI detector, and we recommend distrusting anyone who does: those tools are unreliable in both directions. We do not guarantee that a rewrite will suit your purpose, and you should always read the result before publishing it. The service is provided as is, without warranty beyond what the law requires.
AI provenance marking
Text processed through the AI option may carry an invisible, machine-readable provenance mark added by our model provider, in line with the EU AI Act. It indicates that an AI model processed the text and nothing more. Text rewritten through the human review option carries no machine mark.
Acceptable use
Do not use Youmanize to produce illegal content, to impersonate someone, to generate spam or mass deceptive content, or to process texts you have no right to. Do not attempt to resell raw access to the API, to circumvent quotas, or to disrupt the service.
Reviewers
Reviewers are independent contractors, approved case by case. Every reviewer commits to rewriting by hand, without any AI, and certifies it on each delivery; work produced with AI is not paid. Reviewers are paid a share of each order they complete, as stated when they take it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid over the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of revenue or reputation, arising from the use of a rewritten text.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means acceptance. These terms are governed by French law. Any question about them can be sent through the contact form.
